Step
In our over 20 years of ministering to the Youth of the Brainerd Lakes area, we've never truly had a visible space of our own for our students to come and gather. With the YFC Junction Outreach center, that's changing in a big way! Only a few blocks away from the high school, it's a huge leap in the direction we've been headed all along: reaching out to Students with the love of Jesus and the message of Hope, Inspiration, Purpose and Peace.
What is it?
The YFC Junction will be an outreach center that will be intentional in everything it does to engage the youth that walk in it's doors, welcoming and warm in atmosphere from the furnishings to the volunteers. With spaces to study, eat snacks, play games or hang out with friends, The Junction will have a little bit of something for everyone as the volunteers and staff actively interact with them and give them a sense of belonging, engaging with their stories.
While there's still plenty to do, we've had lots of help from wonderful volunteers in bringing Then Junction closer to completion so we can move in and open our doors!

You can be part of the vision through financial support or the donation of an items.
(Special note re: donated items: Each teen is a creation of God with great value and great worth. We want that value and worth to be reflected in everything within the YFC Junction. It’s quality will say, "You are valuable to us; just as you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and we have made this place for you.”
Therefore, we would request that donations of used items are in very good condition.)
Lastly, as we strive towards an internal design (colors & theme etc.) please do not drop off any donated items until it is decided how it can best fit within our design scheme.
