In our first 24 years of ministering to the Youth of the Brainerd Lakes area, we never truly had a visible space of our own for our students to come and gather. With the YFC Junction Outreach center, that changed in a big way in 2021! Only a few blocks away from the high school, it was a huge leap in the direction we'd been headed all along: reaching out to Students with the love of Jesus and the message of Hope, Inspiration, Purpose and Peace.
What is it?
The YFC Junction is an outreach center that is intentional in everything it does to engage the youth that walk in it's doors, welcoming and warm in atmosphere from the furnishings to the volunteers. With spaces to study, eat snacks, play games or hang out with friends, The Junction has a little bit of something for everyone as the volunteers and staff actively interact with them and give them a sense of belonging, engaging with their stories.
